I have looked through IRS info but cannot find the info I am looking for.

I want to research a charity before I donate to see how much money makes it downstream. Any database or resources out there?

their website?

you will find that 90% of charities don't really help anybody or anything. they are egocentric bs.

my wife has worked at 6 different non profits in the last 15 years. I would only give money to one of those non profits. the rest just wasted money on things not core to the mission, while at the same time paying their employees poverty wages.

Do a Google search for direct donations. Find a family facing serious medical issues and give directly to them. That way you know 100 percent of your donations as used in a critical situation.
