Not as "sexy" of a choice as say Hill, or Keiland or Ridley but Addai was the total package. Great at picking up the blitz, good receiver out of the back field, and could run between the tackles. I really think that Joe Addai was the most complete back that played for LSU during the BCS era. Agree? Disagree?

Eta: the Hester BR article kind of reminded me of this

Jeremy Hill. great blocker, great runner, receiver, tough, long runs, short runs power and breakaway speed.

Watching him almost single handedly beat Florida was so amazing.

Jeremy Hill was better receiver and runner.

Addai was probably the best pass protection RB we have had though.

I like Addai, but unless there were injuries he was usually buried on the depth chart under Vincent, Broussard, and even Carey. He was a hard worker though and was rewarded by being in the same backfield with Peyton Manning at the next level which really prolonged his professional career.

Hill, easily. Addai was really good and should have gotten more carries IMO, but Hill is the best RB since Faulk and an argument can be made that he was better.

Maybe, but I would take Jeremy Hill any day of the week.

Jacob Hester would disagree.

I'm going to say Domanick Davis. He could do it all.

Was surprised it took this long to mention him. He was also a big time special teams contributor.

It's hard to argue with Addai or Hill though. Both were special.

THIS. As a runner, Hill was significantly better. He also doesnt have very many weaknesses, if any.
