I live in Nashville and it is just amazing how many new LSU fans we have up here because of Mett. He has taken this city by storm. He is the QB they have looked for so long. It is just a matter of time before he is the starting QB during regular season.

Mett will be the best QB in the long run out of this draft. Glad to see he will be getting an opportunity to shine.

Zack should give Cam a commission. I also trust Cam to do good things with our young QBs given some time.

I think Whitehurst is out.
and OP is being a little strong FTR, many Titans fans still have a lot of love for Locker, and think if he stays healthy, that he's the guy.
Hopefully they're wrong. I'll attend a lot more Titans games with Mett under center.

Not a lot of the fans I know. Not to mention that the team did not pick up on Locker's fifth year contract. Meaning he could be gone after this season anyway should the team think Mett is the future.

Locker will be the starter, if he gets hurt again or things go bad performance wise, Mett will be next up in my opinion.

very true
I'm just basing it off of 104.5 where most of the callers said that if he stayed haelthy, they think he should be paid and that he'd finally reach his full potential.
It's a bigish city though

Locker's 5th year wasn't picked up because his future depends on his health. If he stays healthy and doesn't improves on some of the things that make him a below average NFL QB, he will be the guy. I know some Titan fans that think he is the next great thing. I think they are stupid, but that's another discussion. I hope Mett gets an honest shot. If not, hopefully they try to PS him so another team can scoop him up and give him his shot. (Just not Oakland)

As a Titans fan, I look forward to great things from Mett...he was a NFL QB his last season at LSU.
