Damn. I'm going to have to drop this bomb of knowledge on my parents tomorrow. I consider myself pretty conservative, but my parents are beyond annoying. All my mom does is watch Fox News. I don't know what is worse when I'm home from school:
1. Turning the TV on to Fox News every time.
2. Noticing that my mom is watching the standard definition channel on the HD TV. EVERY DAMN TIME.
My mom is the type of person who states facts like "Obama is a Muslim." She voted Democrat when my dad married her.

They should've been making the argument that it's the substance of the EO's they have a problem with.

Let me explain this to you so as even a dumb azz can understand it.
The amount of executive orders don't mean shyt.
A 100 tweaks or 500 don't mean shyt.
But 50 REWRITING'S OF LAWS whilst by passing congress is UNCONSTITUTIONAL.
Even a dumb azz should understand the difference.

The difference is a chasm of separation.
EO's are traditionally used to enhance/enable the Executive's execution of Congressional directives, not to contravene them.
Think Iran-Contra justified as an EO.
That is the basic difference here.
It is unhealthy now. It would be unhealthy at any point. It violates the principles of our government. Imagine Rick Santorum, Michelle Bachman, or ElizabethCherokeeWarren with unfettered EO authority. The abject idiocy is anyone defending this BS on simple basis that it's their guy doing it. At some point the political viewpoint of a new EO-empowered POTUS will diametrically change. I guess our currently short-sighted Obamabots will scream bloody murder at that stage. "They that sow the wind, shall reap the whirlwind"

I do know he has changed law against Congressional directive. I do know he has directed the AG to not enforce existing law. The number of times >1 is almost irrelevant IMO.
