Things to do in Houston Friday

Haven't been to Houston many times. Will be leaving Friday morning, just me and So. What are some things to do during the day? Thinking about going to the Astros game Friday night bc I've never been to minute made. What are some other suggestions on things to see/do all afternoon?

I think les is throwing out first pitch Friday night...we've got a party to go to, but if we didn't id be going to the Astros-Rangers

Isn't all that at night? Astros game that night. I'm thinking arrive at noon and Galleria and then from 2-3 till 6 need to fill that time before Astros

Skip the lastros vs. texans...prob. the worst teams in MLB and some of the highest concession costs = not worth it unless you get free baseline tickets !
