Spinoff thread: What was the best and/or worst trade in North Am. pro sports?

Seeing the Mankins trade thread and the news that Denver traded for a K that was going to be cut by NYG. What was the best or worst trade?
For me it is simple and is both in same trade...
The Dallas Cowboys/Minnesota Vikings trade in 1989. To this day I can not believe that Jerry and Jimmy pulled that off. The use of the number of draft position for value was amazing and they knew Minnesota was going to give the farm.

Popular myth. Ruth was disgruntled and wanted out of Boston. 5 of the 8 AL owners went along with Ban Johnson's junior high mentality and wouldn't associate with Frazee. The White Sox offered Shoeless Joe and cash, the Yankees offered cash. Frazee took New York's offer.

Babe Ruth to the yankees is the end of the thread. This is common knowledge and even had a nick name. What other trade had a nickname?
The curse of the bambino.
