It's over. Any time a player is waived injured if they go unclaimed they revert to IR and also still get paid.
This helps protect injured players from losing their job without any compensation.
This is not the roster stashing deal we do with promising rookies that get hurt (like we might do with Fortt). This was guys that were legit injured and are being protected by the rules.

I'm not hating. I'm a realist. For real he ain't making the squad. Hard worker, great hands and routes, lacks in physical talent. Poor man's Lance Moore.
Look the guy could probably make a few other teams(Tampa, Carolina, and Atlanta all come to mind) and appreciate that he loves it so much here to keep trying but we are just too deep.
