Similar to previous trailers, but the mood gets me more pumped than ever for this movie. I really can't wait.

Get ready. This is going to be a good one!

Yeah it's rare to have a trailer that makes you feel something.

David Fincher has finally learned how to tell stories. This is going to be a good one.

What in the actual frick are you talking about, man?

Se7en, Fight Club, Bejamin Button, Social Network...

Even the Game, Panic Room, Zodiac and the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo are pretty damn good.

I think it has been very well cast overall but Lizzy Caplan is exactly who I pictured in the book as his sister.

I'm excited for it.

Especially having heard rumors that they'll change the ending from the book (great read but the ending wanted to make me kick puppies). It looks like it's well casted.

Prepare for a terrible ending. The book's ending was atrocious

At this point, the best surprise of all would be if the movie ends the same way as the book. Non-book readers' jaws would drop.

I certainly hope not. It'd be terribly disappointing IMO if it did.

*SPOILERS*

Badass in what way? I thought it was an abortion and completely unrealistic. He's already told the cops his story that it was a setup by her, now she comes back and is alive. She tells the cops that Nick is innocent and clears his name. So Nick has all the leverage and doesn't need to take her back. He can go to the police. At that point- no matter how manipulative she is, how could she come back and say Nick did this? She already killed the guy who she told cops took her, and came back to Nick while fighting for his innocence.

Saw one of the "revered" movie dudes on this forum say the same thing a few weeks ago about Dave Fincher. None of yall called him out on his bull shite. Thought I'd give it a try. Sorry for trolling. I'm excited about this movie along with many others this coming fall.

I shouldn't have started the spoilers in this thread. Anyways, I'll reply.

**SPOILERS**

quote:

So Nick has all the leverage and doesn't need to take her back.
You're forgetting - or, at least, failing to mention - why he "took her back." Possibly the biggest plot twist of all. It involved. . . I'll say, a doctor. And urine.

quote:

He can go to the police.
Remember, he did go to the police. Boney even believed him and tried to help. But Amy had a perfect explanation for everything.

quote:

At that point- no matter how manipulative she is, how could she come back and say Nick did this?
Again, you're forgetting the key bombshell that made Nick stay. Made him destroy the book he had written, which told the true story.

I can probably guess one of the ones who might've said something preposterous like that. Sometimes, I think everyone has a few trolling moments on this forum.
