Anyone here ever been in one? What is the best draft strategy? Grab an elite QB early? TIA

If you have a top 3 pick try to get one of the elite qbs. If you have the chance to grab another top 10 qb in the second do it too.

This is assuming 6 pts per td.

I've done one and seriously regretted not just going QB-QB. The teams that did all ended up in the playoffs.

I play in a 2 QB league. Had pick 7 of 8 and went Manning/Brees with my first two picks.

Followed with A. Foster, D. Martin, V. Cruz and L. Fitzgerald.

A lot of it depends on the scoring...

For instance, my league is 2 QB, but tds are only worth 4 pts for them.

1 pt PPR & bonuses for long runs/catches as well as total yard bonuses.

In this case grabbing elite QB's isn't the best way to go IMO.

But, we don't know your league setup

I'm in a similar league, 2 qb but the 2nd qb slot is a any position flex

4 pt tds for qb passing
.5 ppr

I still think you need to get at least 1 good qb early if folks make a run

Very high correlation between pairing two top 10 QB's and making the playoffs. I paired Brees with Cutler/McCown last year and went 12-2 regular season. Year before that paired Brees with Peyton and went 13-1.

This is my first year to do one as well, Passing TD's are 4pts. Since its a 12 team league we can only have 2 QBs on our roster so most people went two QBs early.

I got the 3rd pick and the first two were Manning and Brees so I went RB. Got Graham in the 2nd and then Foles in the 3rd. I opted to let everyone pick their 2nd QB so I could wait and grab my second starter with the last pick in the draft and ended up with McCown. I plan to play the waiver wire or trade for a better QB because I'm loaded everywhere else.

QB1 Foles
QB2 McCown
RB1 Shady
RB2 Montee Ball
WR1 Keenan Allen
WR2 Victor Cruz
WR/TE Mike Wallace
Flex Rashad Jennings
TE Jimmy Graham
DP Vontaze Burfict
DEF Bengals D
K Phil Dawson

Bench is
MJD
Run DMC
Deangelo Williams
Brandin Cooks
Jordan Matthews
Cecil Shorts
Charles Clay

I hope my strategy paid off because there was just too much value in rounds 1-4 to get a QB

How is this possible? What do you do on bye weeks?

This has been a major topic of conversation. I hated the idea of it but the commish wouldn't budge. I drafted McCown bc i don't mind dropping him in his bye week

Had a 2 QB draft Sunday night.

I went QB - RB - QB

3rd overall pick in a 12 man

Ended up with

Rodgers
Doug Martin
Matt Ryan

The rest of the team is solid.

I liked that strategy.
