I don't remember Merritt's dad doing anything unreasonable and the kid is not committed anywhere yet. Also, I'm pretty sure the kid who won the sparq challenge doesn't need the rant to launch him.

I started posting about him around this time last year. I'm pretty sure that was before his dad.

I can't be arm rasslin with a young whipper-snapper like you son. If you were a year older or if I was a year younger we'd have a deal.

JB is the real deal. Solid kid with a great attitude. It was fun seeing him last year at 220 plus break through the line on a full back dive and leave the Rayville DB's behind.

Expect to see great things from him.

There's one every year. Just save yourself the time, assume that we already think he's a Bama lock and never post here again.

Gotta give him credit for the effort of his troll, bumping an 8 month old thread about a kid who is a local pee wee legend.

Good news, I only post a couple of times a year, so you won't see my name again till football season!

The only reason I posted was because I was looking online to see who is recruiting him. I am friends with his mom, aunt, and grandmother on Facebook and his mom posted pictures of him on the sidelines of the A-Day game Saturday. She typed at the top "Roll Tide". She has posted pictures of him in Bama shirts several times now, and said "he loves them"!

I hate to see kids born and raised in Louisiana go play for that dirtbag in Tuscalooser! I told her if he stayed home and played for LSU, he would be a hero for life. If he goes to T-town, not so much.

I failed to mention I saw this post online when I was searching him and wanted to comment.

Great looking kid. Had a chance to watch him rotate in for some varsity reps last year. Between his hard work and defensive staff at WM he will be fun to watch develop. Still to early to classify as top D1 talent. He is playing with two stud LB's (Matthew Pihl and Layton Garnett). Unless Garnett puts his hand in the dirt, Gullet and Adams will be competing for that 3rd LB position.
