Same reason they fly in separate airplanes.

So their kids won't be orphans.

They have similar taste in cars and found a car they both really like?

This isn't weird to me.

My bodyguards drive black Tahoes. We ride in them.

So I guess we have identical cars

what massive step in logic brought you to this conclusion?

What if they both drive a Tahoe?

maybe they own the dealership, have a close friend or family member that owns the dealership and they got a good deal.

Standardization - if one car is in the shop, or if a child or someone borrows one, etc.

There is a lot to be said for standarization. On the other hand, I'm in favor of having cars for different roles. A great vehicle for "getting work done" might not be the best for "Driving to New Jersey".

My neighbors back home had the same car. His was a company vehicle and she liked the car so she bought one too. Albeit a different color.

Walk into a dealership, test drive a vehicle. Tell the salesman, "if you can meet this price, I'll take two."

Baller move.
