Do we finish with a top 5 class?

Haven't been flowing as close as I normally do. I do notice this class is not of the same caliber as last years for sure. Any gurus want to chime in?

There is a chance if we can flip Tillery and pull a couple of guys that we aren't really expecting at this point. As of now, it looks like 5-10 ranking is where we will end up.

Agree completely w 7th or 8th best class. LSU will finish with TJ and C. Strickland at WR, Tillery or a 4* OT, Grant B. at C/G. Anderson, Bates, Wallace or Walker at DT, Oshea or John Washington at DT, A. Mc at LB, Jackson and DR at DB.

I agree with 7 to 8, but either way it will be strong. 2012 was the weakest recently, this will be much stronger IMO.

If we do well this season...and some guys get a bump during the season that will help.
Also amazes me how Bama pulls in ridiculous class after record setting class. They are saying this could be his best ever. Good god.

I think it will be around 10-12, at best, and that assumes we have no defections from those committed.

Why would it amaze you? Saban turned the program around almost instantly, then won 3 National Championships in a 4 year span. And even homers know he's the best collegiate coach in the country. I'd be amazed if he didn't pull those kinds of classes.
That being said, give me Les any day.

We have plenty of spots available much like last year. Most of the highly ranked programs are almost out of room, so I think we will surprise some folks and end up between 4 & 7...
