Anyone worried their kids will have a hard time balancing their social lfe with academic requirements?
My student has a 7:30am class M-F, that scares the hell out of me.

You mean like 90% of the students there? Yea, theyll probably not do well in that class or just take a W.

Could be a problem.
My first semester I had a 9am thinking oh what the hell I woke up at 6am for high school. Well that was a rude awakening trying to get to that class.
If I had one thing to tell an incoming freshmen is that it's to go to class every day. If you do that at lsu, you are ahead of the curve. Just having your arse in the seat takes away so much time studying outside of class.

I didn't even know classes met that early.
I'd never register for a class that early unless it was the only section open, or the class was major-related.

Your kid is either going to take the W or fail it. Nobody makes it out to class that early.

I scheduled 730 classes every semester including summer when I could
At around 1pm I start getting antsy to leave campus if I'm still there, so I usually scheduled all of my classes in the morning
Done by lunchtime
