I don't believe so.

I am a layman, but in my personal research, I believe that inflammation and the buildup of sticky plaque are causes of Alzheimer's. The compound he is referring to helps avoid this inflammation.

Also, a baby aspirin every day helps avoid the buildup of the plaque.

IMO.

I remember when I worked at Bi-Lo as a teen I'd always eyeball the pomegranate juice. It was sitting on a bed of ice next to other freshly cut fruit. I'd put it in the fridge at end of every shift after sweating and running around all day. I wondered if it's tasty. It was always on my mind but I never paid for it. At the time I had a new baby and foreign juices were a luxury I couldn't afford. Then one day I worked an extra couple hours and splurged. I was so ready for a drink of the ice cold juice. Then it hit my tongue and I learned why I never saw people buying it.
