Watching the replay of the Florida and Auburn games from 2007 on SECN, made me really appreciate what Flynn was able to do at the helm that year.

What do you guys think our record would be if we had Flynn as our QB this year?

CSB, I saw him at Stabb's in Central a couple of months back when I was in town.

Better question:

How scary good would that '07 offense had been if Russell stayed?

What about Tulane, Kentucky, Alabama, and Arkansas?

We'd be a legit contender for the title, but I'd qualify that by saying the Senior Matt Flynn.

I was there in Orlando for his first extended play of significance...that Flynn and we'd be about in the same boat we are now.

Not so hot with a new right side of the OL, only one experienced receiver, and two DL linemen lost early in the season.

How many chanpionships did Russell led teams win whild he was here.

A better question could be, how many championships would we have won if Flynn had been given an even chance after the Miami game.

Thankfully the season starts next week and we can argue about who should be the starting quarterback and running back this season. ;)

THIS...he gets too much credit imo, he stunk the UK loss and most of the ARKY loss. He sucked as bad as any LSU QB has sucked the first half of the Bama game, luckily we pulled it out!! I root for the guy, but I don't attribute much to him honestly. I thank the gods we were able to win the '07 BCS

Thank you.

I hate to discredit ANY championship and love Flynn for what he did for LSU, but the people that say Flynn > Russell because he "won a championship" are inconsolably stupid.

Not sure Russell and Crowton would have meshed, Flynn was a better fit for that offense

Why not Lee and Jefferson? They went 13-1.
