I think that's pretty telling. And, honestly, I'm ok with it. At first I wanted Lelito to win the job but the more I see Goodwin, the more convinced I become that he still "has it"

I thought he looked pretty good to FWIW.

Goodwin has the experience, and Lelito hasn't really outdone him.

Besides, Lelito is our best backup Guard.

It makes sense.

Plus I think Brees loves him some Goody

Goody has that good arse sweat. Very important to a QB who always licks his fingers.

If Goody took first string snaps in this game, then he's our starting center.

He's been more consistent, and I think Payton and Brees would prefer that even if Lelito has more upside.

I am glad that we have Goodwin starting this year. I think that he will allow Evans and Grubbs to play at a Pro Bowl level. I also think that they had to help out DLP so much that it impacted their play. Lelito will be good to go next season.

I didn't notice Goodwin getting beat last night. That's a good thing to not notice an offensive lineman. I did, however, notice Lelito get blown up and almost give up a safety when the Saints were trying to run it out of the endzone.
