This team is going to light it up this year. Starting to have a slight feeling about this being that season.

Meh. Ingram averaged damn near 6 yards a carry.

He had one 17 yard carry but that is how you score TDs. NFL teams punt way more than they score.

AP the best RB in the game gets stuffed at the line ALL the time. The reason he still averages 5 a carry is because he does what Ingram did last night. The ONE time he had a nice hole he hit it and didn't go down on first contact.

Ingram looks better than he ever has. Jimmy Graham just might be the best player in the league. Drew has an amazing grasp of the game. Colston looks quick and dangerous. The OL was opening big gaps. The DB's look very athletic and tough.

Disappointed that I didn't get to see Cooks.

This is a Super Bowl-caliber team... although I'm making a judgment from watching ONE preseason game.

That didn't help, but I also remember that we couldn't stop Vernon Davis and an average QB at crunch time. The defense in '11 wasn't good enough to win it all.

Saints defense is as good or better than we have seen.

The running game seems to be the priority this year. I think we are strong enough in the trenches to play a more ball controlled offense. I do not think we are as good at the WR position as the SB year or years past excluding last year. We have definitely improved at WR but we don't strike fear.

Overall, I believe the Saints are a top 5 team but the schedule is difficult. An 11-5 season with a bye would be realistic.

Our 2011 team was the best team we have ever had. Not once did I think we were not gonna score when we had the ball.

This team is better on paper. Hopefully it translates on the field

We all drank the koolaid hard. I can't fault any of us for thinking this year would be special.

Just didn't want it to be derp special.
