ArenaBowl XXVII- Arizona at Cleveland, ESPN

what a big day it is in Northeast Ohio, with Johnny Football making his home debut in the preseason, and the Indians at home, and even the Cavs' Kevin Love trade becoming official.
and now the ArenaBowl. Say what you want that it's minor league and shite but they've had 26 of these and are expecting the Q to be packed for the 27th.
They might all be YES! YES! YES! for the Gladiators in their first ArenaBowl in their third city and 17th season, or all be watching the Rattlers of Arizona do something one other Arena League team has done and win three straight ArenaBowls. Their victory if they get it tonight would be their fifth title, tied for most all time with the Tampa Bay Storm.
Of course that YESsing is a symbol of the belief that has seen Cleveland win 6 games this season at the final buzzer, en route to their 19-1 record, the best in Arena Football history even if they lose this game, with the Pittsburgh Power handing them their only blemish so far, 48-34 on May 31st.
Arizona flirted with a perfect season, starting 14-0 before losing three of their final four games and looking utterly beatable by the 5-13 Portland Thunder in the first round of the playoffs. With the ArenaBowl venue decided by regular season record, Arizona might have figured Cleveland would lose some, and might have been okay going on the road for tonight, thinking they had the better team, but in a few hours, I promise they won't be laughing when they see the Q rocking.

I remember when the Force played in the Arena Bowl.
Damn that was a good game, but we lost on a bs call.
Also I miss the Force

Cleveland finally gets their professional championship

the last ones they won were in indoor soccer in the early 90s, the Cleveland Crunch... 1994, 1996, and 1999

"This is the matchup everyone wanted. We'll see if they wanted it by the end of the night"

I am offended that this shite is on ESPN while the WNBA playoffs is relegated to ESPN2.
