10ga 00 mag buckshot kills them and tears your shoulder off too!

Why would you want a 10ga for home defense?

Why wouldn't you? Using anything smaller is like using a glock instead of a 1911.

For maximum, yet practical, shoulder fired power suitable for a home in a neighborhood subdivision. And yes, it's practical if you can handle the recoil.

A 10 gauge 00 buck round will do more damage and have more power than a 3 1/2 " 12 gauge 00 buck round?

I have honestly never heard of anyone using a 10ga for home defense...be sure that whatever you get is short/light enough to use in cramped quarters of a home...

Barrells a little short. I want the 10 ga because it will be very loud, cause severe damage, and stop any man. While the recoil may be bad, I would rather deal with it than use a .410

Is a 2 gauge loaded with 28 .50 cal pellets (which would be 0000000000 pellets) be the most devastating possible shotgun load?

If a man walks through a 20 gauge blast with buck shot in close quarters, aint nothing stopping him.

And even if he's armored, if he walks through 12 gauge slugs, ain't nothing stopping.

10 gauge is overgunning for a home defense role.
