First CFB game of the year on t.v.
Sam Houston State @ Eastern Washington
2 FCS powerhouses and one of our opponents later this season. Sam Houston State lost their coach to Georgia Southern this offseason. No telling how good/bad they will be this year in FCS but could be better than a few other teams we play this season

Seriously? I made zero mention of LSU in the thread title and the first thing i said was first game of the season against Eastern Washington. Not that hard guys.

It's the Tiger rant. Every post is assumed to have something to do with LSU. You're one of my favorite posters on this site, just a well meaning suggestion. I had a legitimate response to the post and I appreciate the notice, not trying to be a dick for the sake of it.

True but they picked up a pretty good replacement in a former Delaware coach that took the Blue Hens to the National Championship several years back. They have 2 big playmakers to replace at QB and RB. This game should be a good measuring stick for the Bearkats though.

Here's to SHS with a resounding 52-0 W today and come into TS brimming with hope at least maybe give us a game for 1 QTR just to not fall asleep before halftime in that one!
