I almost went tonight but its been a bit of a draining week to go see that tonight. Thought for sure though someone would have a review up.

Most people I know are waiting to see what reviews look like before they head to it.

Why are people saying this? How exactly does it look like shite?

It looks just like the first one, which was fricking awesome.

Maybe it is bad, but nothing from any trailer makes it look bad at all.

The only way you could think that it looks bad is if you didn't like the first one.

If you didn't like the first one, then you suck.

I'd do Eva green a favor and put it to her like no one has before.

Then I'd leave her for Aubrey Plaza.

Was travelling this week for work and they were pushing it in USA Today most of the week. The review on Friday said this:

quote:

Sin City newcomer Eva Green is the film's strongest asset. She plays Ava, the diabolical and seductive title character. Often in various states of undress, bright-emerald eyes blazing, Green is the only one who wholeheartedly seizes upon the humor in the material.

It's not bad but nowhere near as good as the first. Eva Green was smoking and the reason to see the movie, and I did like JGLs bit. Jessica Alba's part absolutely sucked, and no amount of hotness made up for it.

From all accounts it is as visually beautiful as the first, but the storylines have left something to be desired. The story made the first one as much as the visuals did.

Is that really that hard to grasp?

You know what else looked like the first one? The Spirit. How did that work out?

People were able to gather this from the trailers?

Of course not, since there is now actually something to grasp.

I'm going by what people I know have said about it after having watched it. But there was definitely more than one review in early screenings that brought this up. People don't just watch trailers.

But I digress. Loved the first one but will wait for this one to come out on DVD. Shouldn't be long given reviews.
