Station 26 in Stapleton has decent beer and will have a food truck. Or you could drive a few more miles and go to the Source. Or you could just sack up and go downtown since you are almost there.

Once my sack is up and I am in downtown, where should I go?

Freshcraft or Euclid Hall if you want better food, Euclid being the better of the two. Falling Rock if you want a great tap list.

Denver Beer Company..great made on site brews, especially the Graham Cracker, has a nice sampler tray, plays Social Distortion, Clash, Ramones,etc..non-stop. Also has a really nice food truck out on the curb. Ale House @ Amato's right across I-87 also very good brew and great dining. Whole area is booming and 'gentrification on steroids' with cranes and mid-rises going up everywhere.
