Cell Phone Stolen. Can You Track Its Location With GPS?

I'm going to drink a six pack of Fat Tire and go crack some skulls. It was a couple of hipster douches at a grocery store here in Asheville. They stole it out of the cart while I walked down the aisle to grab something.

I think that is way above my pay grade. I guess Verizon can transfer data from a stolen phone to a new phone huh? It had some important business related contacts and information on it.

Android lost. It's free.. You can push it to your phone after its been stolen even if it wasn't installed already and you can make thief's life miserable in lots of ways including taking pictures of him, listening in on his calls, downloading all your important files, getting his location, intercepting all his texts and phone numbers he dialed, making the phone scream that it's been stolen randomly and wiping your phone.

The cherry on top is you can do all of these things even if he has data turned off via sms control from another phone number or any computer with a browser.

It's amazing and scary.

Eta he can only get rid of it by factory resetting the phone and if you're smart.. You'll flash a ROM that had this baked in so even if he factory resets it will come right back.
