BMW Discussion: Topanga vs. Lauren

these episodes have been on the past couple of days. let's discuss.
obviously cory fricked up by lying to topanga about all the shite at the ski lodge, but then she TELLS HIM to see lauren. he does, has a good time, realizes he loves topanga unconditionally, and now she is pissed because he LISTENED and went on the "date". that is some game playing bullshite.
she, however, is having none of this, claiming that cory had to test their relationship and his feelings for her while she has always known 100% what she felt for cory.
"do you know how many guys hit on me, cory?" what a fricking bitch.
both parties could have handled this a lot better IMO. cory originally fricked up, but i think he handled it well afterwards. should he have gone on the date? i think so. it helps him realize topanga is his soul mate. topanga, however, originally handles it well telling cory to explore his feelings and then totally reverses her stance when he does so and finds out he is truly in love with topanga.
so what should have happened here? who is more petty and should cory have gone out with lauren/picked her? why is topanga such a bitch?
side note: jennifer love hewitt halloween episode and then cory getting drunk episode are now on back to back. doesnt get much better than that.

Didn't Lauren show up at Cory's house a couple episodes later? Seems a pretty desperate thing to do for someone you've just met. She was clearly messed up in the head also
but yea Topanga was playing some female mind games. Telling him it was ok to go on the date when really he was already screwed at that point for even thinking about going on the date

Didn't topanga do this exact same shite in the show at some point? She was doubting her relationship with Cory because some douche had a deeper understanding of Starry Night

exactly. total bitch move.
then we come to realize episodes later that it takes topanga going out with and kissing another guy for her to realize that the kiss meant nothing and she loves cory.
do we call topanga on this total hypocrisy? do we cut her a break because she couldnt relate to cory's experience until it happened to her? im not sure but it kinda seems like a total count move. i mean, she's not cheating at this point or anything, but it's still a total cop out.
ETA: yes this was douchey artist guy and it happens a few episodes from now

Any guy who believes a long time girl friend when she says something like "sure, its ok - go out and date that other girl" is either hopelessly naive or really isn't that into the relationship.

I fricking hate that string of episodes. Doesn't Pangers get mad because she finds a letter written by Lauren to Cory that Lauren planted unbeknownst to Cory? Sorry some bitch wrote me a love letter, I mean what the frick.
