Qb recruiting- thin or just me?

If Harris beats out aj, aj may transfer for playing time. We didn't recruit a qb in 11 (besides mett who was juco) or 12 for some reason. We don't have one recruited for 15 except for a 2 star athlete. So, I guess my question is why haven't we been recruiting qbs and which qbs are on in the board for 2015? Any stud we're waiting on in 16?
Qb recruiting is so hit and miss that we should probably bring one in every class. Right?

If these 2 stick, we could end up with the best QB situation in the country 2015 to 2021.

LSU signed Stephen Rivers in 2011 and Jeremy Liggins in 2012. They added 2 QB's in 2013. I'm sure Les didn't plan on Liggins not qualifying and and 3 QB's transferring in 2014. I guess you can either recruit that position "thin" or deal with alot of transfers.

We have. Hayden Rettig, Rob Bolden, and Stephen Rivers were all on the roster. All of them transferred to other schools within the past year.

If that happened, we would go hard after another transfer QB...maybe even take a juco guy as insurance

I would like us to sign another QB in 2015 as well, as I too worry about what would happen if AJ decides to transfer (assuming he gets beat out by Harris).
We need an ins. policy for 2015 and 2016 so that we are not stuck with 1 scholarship QB.
Look what happened to Florida in 2013 when they lost their only real QB.

Besides, if he got beat out by Harris, he's only an injury away from the starting job at a top five location with tremendous mentoring by the best in the business. As slight as Harris is, and with his propensity to run, I think Jennings will be inclined to stay put.

Rettig and Rivers both transferred, what makes you think AJ wouldn't?
I am sure he is as loyal as anyone else, but at the end of the day, kids want to play.

This. It's getting increasingly hard to recruit depth at QB because kids want to play and don't want to wait their turn. If they don't play by sophomore year a lot of them transfer. Makes it difficult.

Even this year we are down to walkons if the first two get hurt. And the reality is like many other teams at this point we are hoping the first two are quick developers at the position.
