It is like clockwork. The comments are golden as well.

I will never understand the mindset of the morality of being given something for nothing.

No. The crappy economy is responsible for that.

I'll vote for someone who will give me free shite if Rand doesn't win the nomination. Might as well hop on the gravy train.

I love the reference to the Mexican university that is free and the comment that not even Mexicans want to be in Mexico.

Elizabeth Warren is the perfect distillation of modern American liberalism though - which is a form of liberalism that has never been seen.

One way is to force schools to have some skin in the game. I've co-sponsored a bill with Sen. Jack Reed [D-R.I.] that requires colleges with high student-loan defaults to pay back some of the federal student aid they use.

that is not a bad idea

Just the little slice of loans that were issued between 2007 and 2012 are projected to produce $66 billion in profits to the federal government. Think about that. The role of government has to be helping young people, instead of taxing them for making the effort.

So we propose stitching up tax loopholes that are available only to millionaires and billionaires, and requiring them to pay taxes at the same rate most American families pay.

Boy that sounds so good to a low information voter. Tax those evil billionaires!!! YEAH!!!

Sounds like a good meme. Basically take first world problems and add "tax the rich" on top of a picture of Elizabeth Warren.

Have to get up to change the channel? Tax the rich.
Netflix isn't streaming in HD? Tax the rich.
Etc....

Unfortunately, a generation or two of kids getting participation trophies will be right in line with her thinking. She's more dangerous than people think.

How about not taxing anybody to pay for somebody else's liabilities?

Or just don't sign on the dotted line if you can't afford to repay your loan.

Who is ultimately responsible for the default......the school or the student?

How about only the wealthy get to go to college and everyone else becomes a worker bee?

Then when you fail at life you'll know its because you didn't go to college.
