Sad news to hear. He was always a ball of fun to watch give his take on here. My thoughts are with his friends and family.

HO, was he on the Tom's board ever? I thought I may have seen him before on that one, but I wasn't sure.
BRnet, don't fret. CIT loved to needle people and he liked making grumpy posts. It was part of his persona, but in a funny way not really in a mean way. He knew what was coming back. He was getting a kick out of his own self. If it bothered him, you'd have known it. I told him to tone it down or get a spell cast a few times myself.
He'd chime back calling me Marie again.
In the course of emailing me about some food stuff back in 2011 and 2012, he told me he was a walking miracle. He really should have been dead. He survived a lot and his heart was in very very bad condition. He was living on very borrowed time and apparently, he got more time than he ever expected from what he told me. He had a bunch of other near misses that weren't health related. He literally wondered why he was still around. He thought it was surely divine intervention or guardian angels.

We lost a good one there. I think we only caught a glimpse of what he truly knew about food. I will have a whisky tonight in his honor. Godspeed good man.

He was only 1 year older than me. Everybody should be thinking that you could be next. Live your moments as if you know it will end soon.
And if I'm next, I just want everybody to know this board has given me great pleasure and purpose since I've been here. It's the only place in the world the Jambalaya Calculator could have been launched. Thank you particularly Pochejp, Kajungee, Gris Gris, HungryOne, Martini, Winkface, Louisiana Lady, Kosmo, bossflossjr, SW2SCLA, Powerman, Coater, and many more.
I'm going to die without leaving any descendants. I hope that I've left some legacy here for the future.

I read a lot more than I post over here and always enjoyed Cit and his posts. There are a number of you food board regulars that I make sure I read whenever yall post and he was one of them.
