LeBlancs is closer to me so maybe start with things they have..I was looking today but am lost as to the difference between these and what makes them what they are...I saw something that looked interesting, was blue dog blueberry lager...didn't get it because I didn't know what to expect..I just want to make sure it would possibly be something my wife would drink also..something to do together after the kids go to bed..thanks for the suggestions!

What do you normally drink? Too many options to just suggest something out if the blue. Also good call not buying that blueberry shite

Get your hands on a BrewDog Tactical Nuclear Penguin. It will completely change your thoughts on beer.

I've never been to LeBlanc's, so I don't know how their selection is. But I'd avoid hoppy beers like IPAs or even pale ales. I'd suggest a dessert beer if you're splitting with the wife. Something like a chocolate or coffee stout would probably go over well. Southern Tier Choklat would be a great one.

Dr pepper or sweet tea. Seriously, don't really drink.

What about strawberry ale...again thinking about my wife..she hates normal beer.

Sweetwater 420
Saint Arnolds Fancy Lawnmower
Fat Tire

are some decent gateway beers. If you like them, you are on your way and will be bored with them before long

See...thanks for that clarification! I don't know the difference...are there certain ways to drink them (like pouring them in a glass and do you just keep them in the refrigerator) or do you just drink it straight out of the bottle?

Always, always pour your beer into a glass. A huge part of enjoying beer is the aroma. If you drink straight from the bottle or can, you miss out on that. Don't serve your beer ice cold and pour into a glass slowly. Note how it smells before you taste it.

Try your amber ales, your brown ales, maybe a coffee porter if y'all like coffee

Look for stuff like NOLA Brown, Parish Canebrake, and Tin Roof coffee porter.

Now when you say don't serve it ice cold, what about just refrigerator temperature?? There isn't any ice in the tea or milk when poured...

Another question,I remember seeing on bar rescue..when getting lager from a tap, you hold the glass at a45 degree angle..is that the same when pouring it from a bottle our can...
