My best friend back home in Ga was talking with his wife last night and the topic of possibly moving came up, since their boy is grown n just about out of the house.
My bud asked her " Well what do you think....the mountains or the beach?"
She thought bout it for a sec and said "the mountains", which shocked my bud completely. When he asked why the mountains her reply was that " the mountains have a better tactical advantage".
My bud says he just about passed out on the spot. Guess after all this time she finally "gets it".

Tactical advantage to a wife:
Less scantly clothed better looking competition and zero chance of wanting to buy an off shore rig. Also hunting season is finite but fishing season is infinite.

That is true and I love the Smokeys and Appalachians. (My Family was bootleggers from the 1700's and of course fought with the McCoys against the a-hole semi yankee Hatfields) but salt is my blood now and I would rather die in the surf than the snow, plus you can make whiskey anywhere

Along the same lines...
My friend is a dealer for Bote paddle boards. I've been wanting to get a paddle board for the kids. My friend also wants my KSG and is willing to trade for the Bote Ahab. Gun is around $1000 retail, the board is like $2000.
Wife said no to the deal. Said we needed the gun more than a paddle board. I was a little more than shocked.
(Still thinking about the deal though)
