This country needs more people like Pete rose.

He'll get in.................. When he's dead..............seriously...............it's crap.

Yes 25 years is long enough.

One of the many reasons that baseball sucks, especially the HOF.

Might as well. I don't really see any teams hiring him at this point--he's been out of the game for 25 years and his past behavior makes him radioactive.

If MLB expects to be in any way relevant in 20 years they better start approaching things from a different perspective. Including those stale arse HOF gray dicks.
He should have been in 10 years ago.

Probably not without admission/apology from Rose first. Unfortunately. MLB might want to open the dialog based on that.

He already did the apology thing didn't he?
Posted on 8/21/14 at 6:41 pm to Purple Spoon
Did he?
All I remember was when he was telling Jim Gray on live tv he didn't gamble period..
This was back in the late 90s at the all star game or something though

What this wasn't good enough? He was only selling them for $100 a pop.
I would let him in posthumously.

"I'm surprised at ya."
That's the line I'll never forget from that interview.
What happened to Jim Gray anyway, he retired?

Only if they do the same for Shoeless Joe, if Pete's 25 years are long enough then what does that say about Joe. He was banned for life, his life is over lift it and put him in the Hall like he deserves.

Pete Rose didn't fix games.

Proof of guilt or innocence is neither here nor there if you ask me
I'm just shite stirring man. I hope he gets in.
