Troop AI is terrible. They'll shoot a wall forever with an enemy beside them attacking.

I created a squad called "tigerdroppings" if anybody wants to join. It appears only one "side" can join unless I'm missing something, though? I chose the Rebels FWIW.

Got a few TDers playing in the squad but mostly randoms. More people join so we can make the squad private and kick out the riff raff.

Plus even if your troops survive, you can't reuse them.
Plus you can't defend your base with soldiers.

There is an update out to this that will hopefully fix some of the issues. Haven't messed with this game much but I'll fire it back up and give it a whirl.
