Am I the only one who is on the store's side? There is zero reason to not go do this in the bathroom in the first place. I get that there are times it may be necessary and a bathroom isn't available but this seems more like narcissism than the woman's rights being violated.

“I unlatched the infant, he began to cry, and we did the walk of shame to the stock room bathroom. There was nothing but a toilet in the room. ‘Sorry we don’t have a chair.’ I left the store embarrassed and called back to talk to Meredith and verify what I had just experienced.

quote:

‘I thought you and the other customers would be more comfortable off the sales floor,’ she explained.”

Public restrooms are often nasty. I can understand why she did not want to sit on a public toilet to feed her child.

I'm with the woman.

I am not afraid of a woman breastfeeding. It's not dirty, it's not obscene. It's the most natural thing in the world.

My wife always found a more private place to feed the baby. I am sure she did it more for her comfort than that of the public, but she did it just the same.

There's no reason a woman should flop her breast out in a public place and start breast feeding...

Do you take all your meals in the bathroom?

I honestly don't care either way, but because so many lefty women make a huge deal out of, I tend to side with the store. But it doesn't offend or bother me in the least.

My wife breastfed and I know plenty of other women who have done it. Never have they done it in a public place. Either pump before you go so you can give the child milk from the bottle or go to a private area and breastfeed. Ridiculous to do it out in the open. Just my opinion.

Do all your meals still consist of you sucking your mom's tit?

The store should have the right to tell her to go somewhere else or go to the bathroom.

But people should not be uncomfortable around breastfeeding. There is nothing sexual about it.

My wife uses a cover. I'm still not sure of etiquette even with that thing.
