WOuld you be more likely to buy a package of beef if it had the cows name on it?

WOuld you be more likely to buy a package of beef if it had the cows name on it?

Suppose it even had a tracking number that you could enter on a web page, and learn everything there is to know about the cow. Its name (or number more likely I suppose) - when and where it was born, where it was raised, when and where it was slaughtered, what breed and strain it is.

That would be sweet. The cow would taste much better.

i don't shop at farmers markets for this very reason. the thought that all those innocent plants were brutally ripped from the earth near where i live is terrifying
