Well it's from early summer 2001.

I had heard about it but never actually seen it. Thought maybe there were some, like me, who would be interested in seeing it.

Never knew about this. I knew there had been some scenes in the movie that were scrubbed to remove the WTC from the background (although, you can still see it in some scenes, but it appears there was an actual part of the movie that had been filmed and was removed.

Right. I just mean did this just come out or something, cuz I feel like I've seen it a long time ago.
Not bitching about you posting it, just was wondering if it was different (a.k.a newer) than what I had seen.

I think I read somewhere that there was a jet Li movie that got scrapped midway through filming because it was about terrorist trying to bring down the twin towers

That I can't answer. I think it aired briefly back in 2001 but I'n not sure if it was ever released since then until recently.

So Spider-Man knocked down the towers?

No, but there was a tremendous amount of panic with regards to any presentation of the Twin Towers immediately after 9/11.

Saw it in the theater prior to 9-11.

Not a comic reader and I'm not sure how long after 9/11 it took place but weren't Spiderman comics created with stories directly referencing 9/11? I think there might've been a story completely based around it.

Back then I was managing a Blockbuster Video. I remember having to ship a bunch of movies back to the distributor because they had that teaser. SEemed kind of silly to me.

They addressed it in the comics. They had no choice. Spider Man, Daredevil, and the Avengers are all based in New York.

They removed the early Spiderman trailer and cut part of Men in Black 2 as well after 9-11 since the towers were used in a scene towards the end of the film.

After re watching this. Is it just me, or are you expecting this to be a Mountain Dew or Bud Light commercial? It feels like one

There is definitely a cheese factor.

I'd forgotten how uptight this country was with any sort of Twin Towers reference after 9/11.

Well, to play devil's advocate, that day was pretty horrifying.
