Cox Internet - How big of a difference does 5 mbps and 25mbps make?

I've had 5 for years and can stream whatever I want to on it. Moving to new house this weekend and am looking at finding justification to upgrade.

They are in the process of doubling speeds for free right now so you might check and see when you are scheduled for the upgrade. They doubled mine last week. Pay for 50 and get 116.

I pay for 50mbs down right now. But I need it. Work from home, have about 3-5 devices running regularly.

you can always try out 5 and see what you think. I am sure they would be eager to upgrade your service.
But honestly I can't imagine being stuck with 5. I feel like 50 is slow sometimes.

Don't pay for more than you need. If the quality of your experience starts to suffer, start paying for more. Pinch your pennies until then, because you likely won't notice a difference.

You need 50 Mbps download to work from hom and use 3 - 5 devices online? What do you do for work? Video editing in the cloud?
