Are there any Adult Flag Football Leagues in Baton Rouge?

I have a friend who plays in a flag football league in New Orleans but can't seem to locate one here in Baton Rouge? BREC says they don't offer it. Anyone know of any?

Unless they shut it down after this summer, BREC does have adult flag football.

There are at least a couple of leagues around, because I know of a few guys that play in more than one league, but the BREC league plays on Sunday afternoons, between 1:00 and 6:00. One of the sites is right near the interstate on O'Neal Lane.

I'm retired.
But BREC moved from 7 to 8 man teams about 2 years ago... so 8 man teams.

I don't know but there are some nasty teams in New Orleans.

Brec has a Sunday league and its pretty good. Louisiana has good teams actually the #1 ranked team in country is from NO in 7 man and baton Rouge has a team called the Savages they are ranked like 15th in country. there is a tournament this weekend at Southern Lab a lot of teams will be there if you looking for a team.

Baton Rouge Ancient Athletes has been around a long time. They offer multiple sports including flag football.

The BREC flag football league is great. There are some wonderful athletes on each team. Every single player plays each game like it is the Super Bowl that was taken away from him years ago. All of the defensive players think they are Warren Sapp and Lawrence Taylor in their heyday. Every QB manages the game like he is Peyton Manning. Lots of playmakers out there....quite a few Randy Moss and Terrell Owens types. I really have no idea how the NFL missed out on some of these guys...and they will be the first to wonder why themselves.

The YMCA used to have an adult flag football league as well.

Brec has a non competitive league thats for fun alot of business get in that league.

they will be at the tourny this weekend and the team from Baton Rouge gave them a run for their money in Atlanta i heard.
