ISIS is Sunni, Saudi is Sunni. ISIS is opposing Iranian interests, Saudi is vying for regional control against Iran.
Is Saudi a secret fan of ISIS?

Saudi is a house that no one builds any more in the ME.
They are for and against everyone.

I think secretly there are Mullahs and Imams in Saudi Arabia who back ISIS but publicly oppose them

There is plenty of money flowing to ISIL from wealthy individuals in the Sunni GCC countries (Saudi, Qatar, UAE, primarily), but the ruling houses of these countries would not survive an extremist Sunni revolution. They are universally reviled by Salafists and Wahhabis of all stripes, and are about as devout as the Borgias.

Because ISIS is cool when they fight in Syria and Iraq against Shitte. These people could overthrow the Saudi government with enough support in Arabia. The monuments are to be all destroyed in Saudi Arabia if ISIS prevails.

Yeah... that whole caliphate thing wouldn't work out very well for the Kingdoms (Saudi Arabia, Bahrain).

Saudi Arabia wants to stay allies with the US so their public policies will almost always be in line with ours

Thanks for the replies. The Monarchy fear of Sunni based revolt makes sense. I could believe this to be the primary reason.

Radical Sunni are opposed to the House of Saud. Just as they were opposed to Saddam. Their idea of a caliphate does not fit well with royals or sectarian regimes.

The royals in SA have been giving money to radical jihadists for years. It is not support. It is protection money. Think Mafia.

They're not. ISIS is the Saudi's Frankenstein monster.
