Man, I think I'm getting hoarse.

I remember going to this when Duke was running for governor against EWE. shite used to get crazy. Combine that with the living waters ministry people that used to yell at the dirty fornicating squirrels and the front of the union was great free entertainment.

It's all day, every day, especially after the lawsuit.

But, yeah, I used to love Free Speech Alley. Unfortunately, I was there as it slowly dissipated into crap in the early 90s thanks to the religious nutjobs.

Brother Jed and Sister Cindy were there long before the early 90s.

yes it still exists, but a couple years ago there was a lawsuit brought against LSU, for limiting free speech so they opened it up to all of campus.
People still primarily use Free speech alley I think. It's hit and miss with that.

Basically, all it's used for is poster sales, handing out flyers for campus events and clubs, antiabortion demonstrations, LGBT activists, advertising for KLSU radio, and crazed Evangelicals telling people they're going to hell. There's very rarely any real debate or political discussion.
