For those who don't know it is UPS but they contract the final legs of shipping to USPS and it's o so wonderful shipping. Tracking your shipment is a joke and it takes forever to actually get any tracking to show up. Ordered something from Sports Authority and it showed shipped on the 8/15. Go to track it and nothing till the 18th and it is stuck in Tennessee and the delivery date is scheduled Monday the 25th. Mind you i'm in Texas. This is nothing I need right away but damn could it get here any slower. The Amazon Prime USPS bitch thread made me think about this.

I had something delivered that way through UPS Surepost. They were supposed to hand it off to USPS for delivery, but on the tracking it said something to the effect of "we'll be in the area today and deliver it ourselves".

Didn't get the package for another 3 weeks. After I had already filed a complaint and received a replacement item (final delivery by USPS on the day it was supposed to be)

Yeah, or just don't use these services. I'm always amazed that people bitch about something they likely could have changed. Next time, pay for faster delivery.
