If so...

Why?
What is stopping you?

For me:

Yes.

Tired of dealing with idiots.

Can't think of how to transfer skills to something that can pull in similar income.

tigerdroppings.com legal analyst Elleshoe says he sometimes does, but leans on his friend bill brasky for support.

I plan on hanging it up when I am around 50 if my retirement plan works out. I want to teach Criminal Justice after I hang it up. Preferably at a school near the coast.

I am going to do some adjunct work next year to see if I like it.

I do because it's just too much of a hassle for so little a reward. I just don't know what else I can do that will make good money.

I don't know how salary compares, but I can tell you that lawyers very commonly move into executive positions in regulated business such as utilities, etc...

I quit litigating. I'll never be OT rich but I'm happy and have zero work stress.

Been doing it almost 20 years and I dont know one lawyer that enjoys it. Fortunately for me I was able to make some early real estate investments that panned out. Now I just practice law part time. I spend most of my time on the farm.

Agency work.

I was sitting in a CLE listening to Buddy Stockwell talking about emotional burnout and looked around the room. It really is astounding how miserable we are as a profession. It's no wonder so many of us are alcoholics or addicts or whatever.

Dont really have much extra money after I pay expenses for three kids in school, but I have what I need. I decided a few years ago to live a simpler life.....so i dropped the domestic cases and the booze that goes with them and picked up tigerdroppings and horses
