Van Pelt, Herbie and David Pollack were all just on Sportscenter talking who will come out of nowhere and become a household name. Herbie picked Carlos Williams, Pollack picked Will Gardner.

"I'll take any of the freshmen Les Miles has at LSU. They have a bunch of them, and they just might be playing for that thing, you never know." (In reference to the championship trophy they were showing)

He always has good things to say about LSU and SEC football.

I can sit and listen to Scott van Pelt and Ryan Russillo talk about Major League Baseball. That's how much I enjoy listening to their show. I can't even stand listening to Mike and Mike talk about football.
