Pelicans GM Dell Demps said Jrue Holliday (shin surgery) is working out and appears to be healthy.
Demps also added that Ryan Anderson and Eric Gordon are looking healthy and are working out separately. Holliday averaged 14.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, 7.9 assists, and 1.6 steals before injuring his shin last season and should come at a discount on draft day due to his injury.

This info came from Demps being on the Black and Blue Report today. LINK Demps starts around the 9 minute mark.

Nakia Hogan of the TP tweeted the highlights.

Pelicans GM Dell Demps said on their in-house Black & Blue report that All-Star PF Anthony Davis is now up to 242 pounds.

Dell Demps also said he is in the process of finalizing the contract of John Salmons. Demps said they are dotting 'i's and crossing 't's.

Demps said Eric Gordon, Jrue Holiday and Ryan Anderson appear to be healthy. Players have been working out in different parts of country

Given the choice to upgrade C or SF decision, Demps said they chose C and signed Omer Asik. He called Asik a top 4 center in NBA.

Demps said he is looking forward to see Russ Smith and Austin Rivers in training camp. He said he has been hearing good things about Rivers

Other notes,

- Mentioned Tyreke first when talking about SF, then Salmons and then said Darius and Babbit can compete for minutes.

- Gordon came out to summer league to support the team on his own and is in great shape. I thought this was a notable mention because normally Gordon gets mentioned as an after thought if at all.

- Ryan is back on the court running and shooting.

While I love the optimism top 4 C in the league is a stretch...but with that being said I can't really think of any other center in the league being a better fit next to AD

It's not that big of a stretch. C is not a very deep position in the league. I'd say Howard and Marc Gasol are 1 and 2. Cousins is probably your number 3 at this point. Beyond that, nobody else really stands out above Asik. Brooke Lopez was looking like he may end up on a pedestal, but he can't stay healthy.

I'd say the first tier is Noah, Howard, and Gasol in some order. After that, it's all over the place. I'd say Cousins is probably next. It gets murky after Cousins IMO.

I can't disagree with this.
