The Hill - White House considers sending Obama to Ferguson

The White House is mulling the idea of sending Obama out to Ferguson to try and calm things down.
They haven't done it to this point because they figure it would inflame things and that the increased security requirements would stretch law enforcement too thin considering that the National Guard, state police, local cops, etc are already dealing with protesters.
I personally don't see a lot of good coming from this considering that he's likely to put his foot in his mouth.

After last night didn't pop off it seems like the protests have peaked.

Obama loves to play the opposites game.
Going to the border was something a President should do and he didn't go.
