I booked one in April at the Quality Inn by Reliant bc I couldn't find my original reservation made back in Nov.

But I found it so I cancelled the Quality Inn on South Loop just now.

DOn't know the hotel situation, just in case anyone was looking and couldn't find one or wanted one closer to stadium.

i'm sure if you call now, operators are probably standing by.
i know, CSB

Seems to be tons of hotel options right now. Either no one is going to this game or Houston is just that big.

Houston is big enough that a college football game won't make too big of a dent into the hotel situation, particularly on a holiday weekend when there isn't anything else going on in town. Also, a significant portion of the LSU fans going to the game live in the Houston area and don't need hotel rooms.

Yeah, short of the Super Bowl, you'll always find rooms in Houston on a given weekend.

It won't dent the city. There's 3-4x (250k) as many that come in for conventions.

I am at the Embassy Suites Energy Corridor. Brand new hotel, located off Katy Freeway.
