Both teams were putrid particular on offense. Saints should rollover the browns for sure.

What all Saints fans said back when the Redskins with their rookie QB came rolling in to the dome.

Final Score

Skins: 40
Saints: 32

Pretty different circumstances surrounding that team. RG3 looked phenomenal in that preseason/camp, and they put up some serious points. I don't think that is a good comparison.

We are 5-2 under Payton in opening games, with both loses coming to the defending Super Bowl champs.

All this may be true, but no one expected a rookie QB in his first real NFL game to lead his team to a win over the Saints....in the dome.

So just don't be too over confident when Cleveland comes around.

And let's be honest a bit. The Saints first team defense has played like shite so far.

Meh, the "starters" have played a total of about 20-30 snaps.

We know what everyone but Byrd and Bailey are capable of. No reason to be concerned with the defense.

It's preseason, what did you expect?

As other posters have said, it's preseason and has no bearing on what's going to happen when the real games start.

Secondly, I've learned that Payton has an uncanny knack of losing to teams most perceive to be inferior.

Redskins 40

We got embarrassed by RGIII.

People don't like honesty around here when it comes to the team. You mines well go the "we won't be scored on all year because our linebackers look amazing so far" route.

Looks like you had an entire conversation with yourself. Interesting.

The popular opinion on here is that our linebackers are our weakness, so not sure why you thought to bring that up. Silly to judge the defense on 20-30 snaps when, from all accounts, they've played well against a pretty good offense all camp

RGIII was the bounty year. We were a mess and proved out to have the worst defense ever.

I will be at game representing the WHO DATS. However, this game will NOT be easy. Saints don't usually play at their best on the road on grass. Browns D is stout and their run game will be bruising. I expect a close low scoring game. i am guessing Saints 20-13 or so....but no easy task for sure.
