Anyone try the pre-made Indian food at Costco yet?

Butter Chicken Meatballs and Chicken Tikka Masala by a company called Sukhi's Gourmet Indian Food.

I bought the Sukhi's potato samosas a few days ago, haven't tried 'em yet. But I did have Sukhi's stuff at the SF Ferry Building Farmer's Market about five or six years ago; as I recall, it was tasty (I can remember samosas, several chutneys, and a dal dish). I guess it made the jump into large-scale distribution.

Only recently joined and haven't seen it.

Is it frozen pre-packaged?

prepackaged but not frozen. It's in the chilled section next to the meats and cheeses

You know, I looked for the three-pack of curry simmer sauces this weekend (not Sukhi's, some other brand). I couldn't find them....so I walked all of those chilled aisles on Sun and didn't see any Indian stuff. Maybe they just put out the Sukhi's? I did get the samosas over in the frozen section on Sun.

I needed an Indian fix 'cause I'd just seen the 100 ft Journey.

I tried the simmer sauces a couple months ago. They were ok. I haven't tried the Samosas. Have you had them yet?

The Tandoori Chef and Amy's brand frozen entrees are pretty decent and have no artificial flavors or preservatives.

It's not bad. I'd buy again. Kids even liked it.
