Hope to God the preseason officiating is not indicative of how many penalties will be called in 2014. This is fricking ridiculous.

I don't believe that football fans will stop watching the NFL. I do believe that the league could hurt its ability to attract new fans. If you are new to the sport, how fricking stupid does it look?

I think they are just trying to make it clear to the Seahawks that they won't get away with what they got away with last year. When defenses tone it down a bit, so will the refs.
