kind of a fad right now but I love them. Pretty sure the goose island bourbon county is one of the best beers I've ever tasted. Founders KBS was also delicious. Can't wait to try the new Saint Arnold bishops barrel no. 7.

I like drinking beer. These bourbon aged beers are hard to drink more than one in an evening. I usually save them for my last of the day. Lol.

If by right now you mean at least the last 5 years and by fad you mean a popular style that isn't going away anytime soon, I agree with most of what you said.

Get to NOLA area and find the Yalabousha Stout. It won't go toe to toe with BCBS, but it is a really good beer.

Somewhat local brew so it has that going for it....which is nice.

I prefer the stout.

Bluegrass brewing out of Louisville makes a really good one. Also really like the Anderson valley, goose island, and the st arnolds bishop barrels. Can't wait to try 7 either

Firestone Walker does quite a bit of their line in oak bourbon barrels.

I love it.

Love a good BBA brew but I just can't bring myself to drink one if it isn't a little bit cold outside. Maybe I am off in my likes but I really don't find them too appealing in the summer time.

Apparently its barrel aged stout season in Tampa as we've had no less than 5-6 released in the past month! Daytime temps averaging 95 degrees!

If you're not coming to the LSU/Wisc game, can you send over a Zhukov so Ham and I can relive the pregame from Dallas last year?

My sweat smelled like roasted coffee and molasses while walking in to game.
