We're actually 4th for Johnson. Clemson, Texas Tech, Georgia, and then LSU. Time to move on. Kids visited LSU countless times. Nothing we have will change his mind.

Tyron is gonna enjoy his process so don't put to much stock in who his leader is. He had tech his leader earlier in the month so...

Just like Speedy and Gerald right? He's just trolling? bullshite. He has no reason to. If he wants to leave the state then he can.

I don't trust anything anymore, but I THINK we're okay with him.
Eta, but I do KNOW one thing: We better not get out worked on this kid.

Well, he has a point….

No use clinging to the "he'll end up at LSU, he's just trolling line" solely because he's from here, when he flat out says we are 4th.

When did he say this? The list he put out was in no order. I still think he ends up at LSU along with Donte Jackson.

or what?

That statement is such bullshite. As if the coaches don't put time and effort into recruiting kids. Give me a fricking break.

Think he was at the scrimmage Saturday. Hopefully the picture he took wearing an LSU shirt giving the BugaNation sign at Texas de Brazil means something positive.

I'm with you Bob Barker. If the kid wants to leave state: PEACE! "Clemson puts receivers in the league". LSU doesnt?..That's bullshite. Many kids out there that want to wear the purple and gold. Let's move on...

Hollygrove is Easton territory. Surely you want him at LSU, and aren't so easily giving up???

I honestly felt this way for a very long time.

I'm close with a HS coach and he has flat out told me how LSU has dropped the ball on a couple of his players over the years. I don't get it. What's crazier is LSU recruited and SIGNED other kids on the same team and still "slow played" certain players that were highly touted. How does that happen?

Bowtie,

When I lived in HollyGrove it was actually Fortier territory. However, my post is just aggravation at what recruiting has become. If a kid wants to leave state, so be it. We'll coach and win with who we have as we've always done.

We have whiffed on a few kids and not getting in the race for their services quick enough being that there are in state kids but we will not win every in state battle and that's understandable

This is not the case with Johnson. He's had an offer since his Sophomore year. We've out worked all the other teams. Kid just isn't that interested in LSU. This is the third time he's named a team not named LSU as his leader.
