Anyone else getting tired of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Look I know its for a good cause and all but my Facebook feed has been flooded with nothing but Ice Bucket videos the past few days
The problem is that I am certain most people don't give a shite about ALS or the cause, but its just another way for people to say "HEY LOOK AT ME" and "LOOK HOW MUCH I AM TRYING TO CARE". In other words people are doing it for the self centered attention and not actually giving a damn about the ALS.

I got no problem with it, even the attention whores are spreading the word about ALS.

At first I thought it was dumb because I thought people were doing that INSTEAD of donating.
Turns out folks are donating anyway and it's obviously spreading awareness because donations have increased something like 1000% from last year.
Can't argue with the numbers. Let folks keep dumping cold water on themselves.
